Earthquakes Short-term Prediction and Dynamic Assessment of Seismic Hazard (co-organized)

Although the problem of earthquake prediction seems not solved so far, the integration of independent observations and knowledge could probably be used to support seismic hazard monitoring in the framework of a real-time assessment strategy.
This session intends to emphasize the added value of the interdisciplinary research devoted to Short-term Prediction of Earthquakes and to the Dynamic Assessment of Seismic Hazard.
Not minor scope of this session is to bring together scientist who are involved in monitoring earthquake prone areas with those who are working on earthquake hazard forecast and assessment in order to discuss the possibility of improving short-term seismic hazard estimation by contemporary using observations and knowledge poorly integrated in the past.
To this aim all contributes based on the analysis of all kind of ground (geochemical, geophysical, biological, historical, seismological, planetary, etc.) and satellite observations are welcome.
Contributions describing genetic models of earthquake’s precursory phenomena are equally welcome.
