Functional Analysis, Approximation Theory and Numerical Analysis

Due to the growing number of infections in Italy the use of the mask is strongly recommended in closed places.
The Conference will be held in Matera. Located in the southern Italian region of Basilicata, Matera is an UNESCO World Heritage Site. Upon request, we will provide the opportunity to attend the conference remotely.
The goal of the Conference FAATNA20>22 is to bring together mathematicians who work in the fields of Functional Analysis, Approximation Theory and Numerical Analysis and to encourage collaboration and exchange of interdisciplinary ideas among the participants.
The conference topics include, but are not limited to:
- Approximation by linear or non linear operators
- Orthogonal polynomials
- Methods of functional analysis in approximation problems, differential equations, and integral equations
- Linear spaces and algebras of operators
- Function spaces
- Constructive approximation
- Numerical integration
- Numerical methods for integral and differential equations
- Numerical linear algebra.

The scientific program is structured in Special Sessions which consist of invited and contributed talks. The duration of talks is 20 minutes, plus 5 minutes for questions and comments.
A Contributed Poster Session is also planned.
