On the Relationship Between Human Being and World, at the Time of Capitalism
The relationship between human being and world has always been at the center of philosophical reflection, to which were added the contribution of anthropology and ethology. Human being and world belong together and the problem is a problem of a political nature: how human interests and life of the world live together?
We must look for new models of governance that are able to bridge the gap between the political form of the State and financial organizations that work in an international context. This kind of space is potentially unlimited due to the advent of a new dimension called “Infosfera” by Luciano Floridi.
Transnational power of finance and multinationals attacks and undermines the strength of national sovereignty, as conceived from sixteenth century. Added to this is the necessity to create new international organisms that are able to deal with contemporary challenges like climate change, immigration phenomenon, germ warfare, coronavirus, etc.
These problems involve the entire global community, without exception. If we can talk about a “global community” we should also imagine a new political institution that represents this new political and global subject.
The current geopolitical configuration was designed by Capitalism, that is our “life-form”. The capitalist system overturned the relationship between politics and economy: economy is the new politics.
